David studied at an agricultural school in preparation for life in a kibbutz in Eretz Israel (Palestine). He was the manager of the “Hehalutz” center in Bratislava. In 1942 David moved to Budapest where he remained until April 1944. He gave assistance to refugees from Slovakia. David returned to Slovakia within the framework of the re-tiyul and worked in an arms factory as a German with Aryan documents. He was in charge of the distribution of the Joint funds. David was caught and deported to the extermination camps in Poland. He was shot during the evacuation march from the camp one day before the liberation.
